Since we are on a subject of sketches. I thought that I would share one of my favourite sketches from Karl Lagerfeld via the house of Chanel. He is truly a genius! There are many ways of getting out your ideas in designing. Some people draw, some use words, some drape and some use computer. There is no right way or wrong way to get out your ideas. Sketching is the easiet way for me to use as a jumping point. You don’t need much just pencil and notebook. They really don’t have to be perfect. It is like your own visual diary. You can do this anywhere. It is just fun to draw. Enjoy Karl’s illustration.
