Brehan Todd jewelry trunk show at idom on Saturday, June 16th

IDOM is excited to be collaborating with our friend, Brehan Todd.
Please join us for the jewelry trunk show and come meet the talented designer herself at IDOM studio/showroom on Saturday, June 16th from noon until 8 pm.  There will be sweet treats and wine.

Brehan Todd Sustainable Jewelry and accessories was founded in Portland Oregon, in 2009. Brehan studied fashion design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.  The company officially introduced itself to the market, with a line of one of a kind, handmade jewelry, made from vintage materials. Brehan Todd now offers a small run boutique line, as well as a high end luxury line sold exclusively on EcoFirstArt.com. Brehan Todd’s art is based on a philosophy of creating sophisticated design while maintaining dedication to the environment and keeping life as a priority. As a designer, her mission is to live and work creatively, and sustainably.  By using natural, reclaimed and vintage materials, she is able to create high quality, contemporary, wearable art, with little need for the earth’s finite resources.

I am so delighted that my partner in crime and the other half of Idom will be sharing our studio full time. I love Caitlin as if she is my sister. As I always have said the over sized cotton hand loomed tunics are my first love.  They are flattering on so many people.  Plus the pieces allow you to play around with proportion and various ways of styling them.  Be free and have fun with your clothes.  Such a joy to experiment variety of combination.

Dear Friends,

They say when one door closes, somewhere, another always opens. It is with this thought that we share the news that Idom’s flagship NW 23rd location will be closing as of January 5, 2012.

While we may be pulling up our stakes from this location, we aren’t leaving for good. Instead we are re-grouping and will re-open as a studio and showroom set to join the talented design community in the 811 East Burnside Building. The IDOM collections will be available by appointment, trunk shows and during weekend showroom hours. Beginning in January you’ll also be able to shop IDOM online. Look for news and details on our new studio/showroom in early 2012.

In the meantime, we want to celebrate the holidays and say thank you to our loyal friends and supporters with three weeks of great sales. The festivities begin with a party at IDOM this Saturday, December 10, from 12-8 p.m. Come by for drinks and treats and a little shopping. Everything in the shop will be 30 % off and we we will continue to add discounts through our last day, January 5, 2012.

IDOM’s Closing Sale Schedule:

30% off everything in the shop – December 10th- 16th
50% off everything in the shop – December 17th-24th
75% off everything in the shop – December 26th-January 5th

Shop credits and gift certificates must be used by January 5, 2012. All sales are final and there are no returns.

Last but not least I also want to thank Evangelina and Miles for their collaboration, partnership and friendship and for being a part of IDOM’s journey for the last year and a half. I look forward to your next endeavor and wish you both much success.
