Pretty in Pink

You know that time of the day in the summer right before the sun goes down when the light is warm and the grass is green green green? I couldn’t help but put together the rich color of the pink woven idom tunic and the landscape on the farm with an impromptu 10 minute photo-shoot before it was just too dark. Plus, I think the black and white saddle shoes are a perfect match!

We have lots of new sale items at the shop right now so swing by and have a look. I think that we may even have one more pink tunic left. Thanks to Mahal for always being willing to help me create when I get crazy ideas, and to her horse, Street Legal Tender, who was more concerned about eating than getting his photo taken but was still pretty awesome.

cool summer mornings

With the summer mornings being a bit cooler this week it’s the perfect opportunity to master the art of layering…..oh and rolling around a little before work.

What I’ve got on: black skinny jeans, old leather jacket, hand woven Idom tunic ( to die for) Idom giraffe scarf (dreamy) and Melissa leopard print ultra girl flats (amazingly awesome). Take advantage of the cool mornings to layer on your favorite pieces!

Every time we get new treats in the shop I start dreaming of styling new pieces with old pieces to create new looks and dream new dreams. We have some incredibly designed (by M, of course!) brass jewelry in the shop right now. Every piece invites adventure and timeless style. Combine brass bunny rings with a Jenny Yuen handbag, an Idom 2010 summer dress, and Melissa wedges and how could you not daydream yourself all the way to a beach in Rio or a park bench in Paris!

A “Devine” Holiday Window

Miles and I had a great time putting together this years holiday window. All it took was some old lumber, a saw, a bit of carpentry (provided by Papa Owens), a couple cans of spray paint, a branch, and some tissue paper.  Whoa. But, the most important pieces needed to make this window happen was the arrival of the new Idom A/W collection and a special treat from London via Tatty Devine! A giant dinosaur! Of course we had to find a way to feature both a new Idom dress and Tatty Devine in our holiday window! Take a look, we hope you like it!
