While we had our lovely meals and wonderful visits for Thanksgiving in the states.  There are so many people in the world that are suffering.  My thoughts and prayers are with the people in Mumbai.  More than 150 people, including at least 22 foreigners, were killed in attacks across the city on Wednesday, according to police.  Photo is from The New York Times.  Read more HERE.

More trouble in my home country.

The head of Thailand’s Army urged the country’s prime minister Wednesday to step down and call elections as he appealed to protesters who have paralyzed the country’s main international airport for two days to cease their demonstrations and leave the terminal. The military chief’s blunt recommendation came as protestors consolidated their control over Suvarnabhumi Airport, forcing the cancellation of all flights Wednesday in a major blow to the Thai economy.

The political strife that shut down Thailand’s main international airport, stranding passengers hoping to leave the country, could devastate the kingdom’s massive tourism industry, which is already battered by global financial woes.  Photos are from The New York Times.  Read more HERE.

My mum and dad are hoping that the political unrest will end in a peaceful situation.  Sending out my prayers to people in India and Thailand.
