Images from an Australian designers camilla and marc at Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay on day one of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2009/10 on April 27, 2009 in Sydney, Australia. Sydney based fashion label camilla and marc has experienced a meteoric rise in Australian and international fashion since it’s inception in 2003 headed by brother and sister duo, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman.

Something about this outfit is really pleasing.  Love the shoes.

The gold blazer is brilliant.  Great combination between the worn down jean skirt with the white top and blazer.  Wow, those boots are fantastic!

I have been really drawn to anything slouchy lately.  This label does great slouchy along with tailored pieces.  The chain detailing is quite wonderful.  I designed a vest with adjustable chain in the back.  My own collection for next Autumn/Winter has similar concept.  Well, thanks to Bob Dylan’s music and his style influence.  My friend Salwa and I also talked about how we love chain detailing.  I guess Australians are into them as well.

Cool pants and still love those shoes.

Rock and roll gold dress.

I love everything about this look.  More chain detailing, more layering, and more beautiful cascade draping.  That dichotomy of slouchy and tailored combination is so delightful.  I can’t get enough of it.
