New paint job

24 05 2009

The painter was hard at work last week. I’ve never had someone paint for me before. It was a lovely surprise and so wonderful to have the help.   Thank you Gary for doing such a fantastic work.  And many thanks to Richard and Lori Singer for all of their help.  It has been an exciting process.  I still have a long list of things to do to get this new space off the ground.  Stay tuned for more adventures.

We chose the same orange for one back wall and dark chocolate for the long panel.  The rest is this wonderful white colour called mulberry with some pink family undertones. I love it.

The left wall has wonderful old raw exposed wood panels.  I decided to leave them raw.  It will be a good contrast between the lighter colour wood and the darker fixture shelves.

Can’t wait to be open soon.  We will be taking down our fixtures tomorrow night from an Alberta space.  I am so happy that Brad and his dad will be putting them back up in our new space on Monday.  Please wish us some luck for a successful build out process.  More pics soon.
